Fantasy Island

Fantasy Island Beach Resort Roatan — Webcam (South Side)

Fantasy Island Beach Resort is a large all-inclusive on its own little island on the south side, ringed by mangroves and a house reef. And yes — it's open. A dedicated webcam is coming; meanwhile, plan your day (or your package).

Want an all-inclusive package at Fantasy Island, a day pass for your cruise port day, or a hand with your Royal Caribbean / Sunwing arrival? I handle it all — diving, snorkeling and excursions.

Cruise Port

Roatan Cruise Port Webcam

Arriving by cruise to Roatan (Mahogany Bay or Coxen Hole)? I'm installing my own cameras on both ports — coming soon. Meanwhile, here's what matters for your port day.

FAQ

Roatan webcam FAQ

Do the webcams run 24/7?

Yes, most stream around the clock. At night the image is dark, of course — the best time to watch is roughly 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Roatan time (UTC-6, US Central, no daylight saving). If a camera stays black or frozen, it's usually a temporary outage on the resort's side.

Which webcam shows the best beach?

Here's how to choose, depending on what you want to see:

  • West Bay (Bananarama, Caribe Tesoro, Las Rocas) — white sand, turquoise water and the reef just offshore.
  • West End — the village vibe, the beach bars and the dive centers.
  • South side (Coco View) — the house reef and the legendary dive dock.

Can I check Roatan's real weather with these cams?

That's the best reason to use them! A forecast can be wrong, but a webcam shows you the exact sky over the beach, to the minute — perfect for planning an excursion or a cruise port day.

Why do some cameras open another website?

Some providers (SkylineWebcams, EarthCam) block embedding their video on external sites, so we show a live thumbnail plus the official link to their full player.

What if it were you on that beach?

Stop watching the screen. Come live Roatan.

How many times have you come back to watch that turquoise water on a screen? 😏 I'm Patrice, a Divemaster guide living on the island year-round. I plan your trip end to end: hotel, transfers and excursions.

The next person walking past the West Bay camera… could be you.
