MSC Roatán Excursions: The Same Tours, Private and in Your Own Language

MSC sells its Roatán excursions to big groups, in a mix of languages where yours can come last. I offer you the very same ones — Jolly Roger, catamaran, Big French Key, island tour… — in a small private group, in your own language (English, French or Spanish), with a guaranteed return to your ship. Often cheaper, too.

MSC Roatán: Your Excursions, Private and Personal

MSC docks at the Port of Roatán in Coxen Hole, the island’s main pier. On board, they push you to book the ship’s excursions — often in big multilingual groups where your own language can come last.

And their excursion catalog is a patchwork: some outings still carry half-translated names left over from other markets (“Journée à la plage de Tabyana,” “Plongée en apnée et plage”) right next to the English ones (“VIP Boat Tour,” “Catamaran Cruise & Snorkel Adventure,” “Beach Express”…). It tells you everything about how personal the experience is.

Here’s the secret: these excursions are run by local operators — the same beaches, reefs, and boats I visit with my own clients. I offer you the same experiences, in a small private group, in your own language (English, French or Spanish), from start to finish, with a trilingual Québécois divemaster who’s lived here since 2014 — and a guaranteed return to your ship.

Why Private Beats the Ship’s Excursion

  • 🗣️ In your own language — English, French or Spanish, not a big multilingual group where your language comes last.
  • 👥 Small private group — not a bus packed with hundreds of cruisers.
  • 💰 Often cheaper — no cruise-line commission.
  • Guaranteed return to your ship — or a full refund if your ship can’t dock.
  • 🎯 Made to measure — the route is built around what YOU want.

Which MSC Ships Dock in Roatán?

You’ll find your ship in the form. The most frequent ones in Roatán: MSC Seascape (the most common), MSC World America, MSC Poesia, and MSC Explora 1. Mediterranean-style vibe and an international crowd — all the more reason to have a guide who truly speaks your language. They all dock at the Port of Roatán (Coxen Hole).

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I book a Roatán excursion without going through MSC?
Yes. You're not required to take the excursions sold on board. I offer you the same experiences (Jolly Roger, catamaran, Big French Key, island tour, snorkeling…) in a small private group, in your own language, and I get you back to your ship well before boarding.
Where does MSC dock in Roatán?
At the Port of Roatán, in Coxen Hole (the Town Center pier) — the busiest port on the island. The MSC ships that dock there most often are the MSC Seascape and the MSC World America.
Will I make it back in time for my MSC ship?
Guaranteed. I build our day around your ship's schedule and get you back to the Port of Roatán at least 1 to 1.5 hours before boarding. If your ship can't dock (weather, force majeure), your deposit is refunded in full.
What language are your excursions in?
English, French or Spanish — your choice, guided personally by Patrice, a trilingual Québécois. That's a real edge over MSC: they run big multilingual groups where your language often comes last, and their own excursion catalog is only half-localized. With me it's a small private group in the language you're comfortable in, from start to finish.
Which MSC excursions can I swap for a private version?
Just about all of the ones sold in Isla de Roatán: Jolly Roger Sail & Snorkel, Catamaran Cruise & Snorkel, Far Away Sightseeing Island Tour, BFK Beach Break, Shipwreck Snorkel, Jungle ATV, Sol & Mar Beach Day… I offer you the private equivalent, and I add Pigeon Cay (swimming with nurse sharks).
How do I book my private excursion from my MSC ship?
Fill out the booking form on this page: pick your excursion, let me know you're on an MSC ship and its name, and give me your port-of-call times. I get your request right away and confirm everything with you.
